The design was quite spontaneous and crazy ( extremely impractical in design). When i hear the word "swirls" i think of nature and root systems, where very unpredictable and constantly 'growing'. The one problem of roots is that they are very impractical to live in (due to their cone like construction) hence why my building looks like how it does... Besides that, the stair case is enshrouded by a heavy layer of roots where each root suspends each stair case via cables. This creates the feeling of overwhelming as the slow swaying movement will cause unease.

The underground has the word (rest), as the 'ball' structure is suspended by chains and cables, to suggest its resting. again, the idea is quite impractical but its unique. |
